1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file or tracker that may be placed on or read from your device when you visit a website, use an application or interact with certain online services.
Cookies may allow the site to function, to remember certain preferences, to measure audience or to enable features provided by third-party services. Their presence depends on what is actually installed on the site.
2. Current use on the public site
The public Urbenetic site is a Next.js site. The audit of 17 August 2026 found:
- no cookie placed by the public site in the HTTP responses examined;
- no Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or equivalent advertising script;
- no writing to localStorage or sessionStorage by the code of the public site;
- no consent banner, since no non-essential tracker is loaded.
The catalogue is loaded server-side. Fonts are embedded in the build. The scripts loaded in the browser are the technical Next.js files required to display the pages.
A strictly necessary technical cookie could be added later for operation, security or an essential preference. Should that happen, this page will be updated.
3. What the public site does not currently use
The public site does not currently use:
- cart, checkout or shop cookies;
- Shopify applications on this site;
- Shopify cookies for the operation of these pages;
- advanced audience measurement;
- marketing or advertising cookies;
- any cookie preference management module, as there are no trackers to configure.
4. Third-party links and services
Some pages contain links to external services, for example WhatsApp, a form sent by email, or the dashboard area. On the public site, these links do not embed any tracking pixel or script.
If you leave the public site for a third-party service, that service may place its own cookies in accordance with its policy. This does not constitute the placing of a cookie by the Urbenetic site.
Urbenetic may use technical or payment providers that are separate from the public site. A generic reference to a third-party provider in another legal page does not mean that this provider places cookies on the public site.
5. Management
No consent banner is displayed, since the public site does not currently load any cookies or trackers subject to consent.
You may nevertheless block, delete or restrict cookies from your browser settings. These settings vary depending on the browser used.
